Emas berjangka ditutup lebih tinggi pada hari Rabu (20/9) untuk sesi kelima berturut-turut, menandai kenaikan sesi harian terpanjang sejak Januari, menurut Dow Jones Market Data.
Harga logam kemudian mempertahankan sebagian besar kenaikannya di perdagangan elektronik tak lama setelah pengumuman Federal Reserve. Bank sentral mempertahankan suku bunga acuan fed fund di kisaran 5,25% hingga 5,50%, seperti yang diharapkan, dan mengisyaratkan satu kali kenaikan suku bunga lagi pada tahun ini.
Dalam perdagangan elektronik tak lama setelah pengumuman The Fed, harga emas untuk bulan Desember berada di $1,963.80 per ounce. Hal ini menyusul penutupan pada $1,967.10 per ounce, naik $13,40, atau 0,7%, untuk sesi hari Rabu. (Arl)
