Saham naik di Korea Selatan dan Jepang, namun jatuh di Australia. Ekuitas Jepang terdorong oleh data harga produsen bulan Agustus yang sedikit di bawah perkiraan para ekonom. Saham-saham berjangka Hong Kong menguat, sedangkan saham-saham AS sedikit berubah.
Kemerosotan di perusahaan-perusahaan teknologi menyeret pasar saham AS kemarin, dengan Nasdaq 100 tergelincir 1,1%. Apple Inc., yang meluncurkan iPhone 15 dan produk lainnya, turun hampir 2%. S&P 500 turun 0,6%.

Euro sedikit berubah pada $1,0762.
Yen Jepang sedikit berubah pada 147,18 per dolar.
Yuan di luar negeri sedikit berubah pada 7,3018 per dolar.
